The Scoop on Phil’s

Phil's is a family-owned neighborhood ice cream and dessert shop. We serve New Zealand-style real soft serve ice cream, classic scoops, milkshakes, sundaes, and rotating cake and pie slices — made with real ingredients and real love in Charleston. Phil's features New Zealand style ice cream which mixes real fruit and all-natural premium ice cream to produce a delicious, creamy soft serve-like treat.

We obsess over our ice cream. At Phil’s, we start with flavor first — rich, creamy, and unforgettable award-winning ice cream. We also believe that ice cream tastes best when it’s made from, natural and fresh ingredients. This is why all of our ice creams start with just five ingredients: cream, milk, eggs, vanilla and natural thickener.

The name Phil's was inspired by Philip Lenzi who is credited with opening the first ice cream shop in America in 1777. His story inspired us to bring this new style of ice cream to Charleston. We hope you love it as much as we do.
